Additionally, chronic conditions impact both mental and physical health. Regular check-ins and screenings allow us to identify issues early and keep your mind and body functioning at their best.

Mental Health Evaluations
Mental health evaluations are an essential tool in understanding symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and more. These assessments may include clinical interviews, standardized questionnaires, and other evidence-based tools to help guide diagnosis and treatment planning.

We provide evaluations for adult anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and ADHD.

Medication Management
Medication management is a key component of care for both general and mental health concerns. This process involves the thoughtful selection, dosing, and monitoring of medications to ensure they are effective and well-tolerated. Common Questions

We provide evaluations for adult anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and ADHD.

We provide care for adults experiencing:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • ADHD
  • Mood Disorders
  • Sleep Disorders
  • Pregnancy & Postpartum Mood Disorders
  • Eating Disorders

Mental health disorders often result from a combination of genetic, biological, and environmental factors.

Just as genetics influence physical traits, they can also affect the risk for mental health conditions. Studies show links between genetics and imbalances in brain chemicals like serotonin, one of the key neurotransmitters that regulate mood, behavior, and thought patterns.

Other contributing factors may include:

  • Chronic stress or traumatic life events
  • Poor nutrition
  • Lack of sleep or physical activity
  • Substance use
  • Hormonal imbalances

Mental health is personal and complex. Understanding the root causes helps us provide thoughtful, individualized care that supports both your mental and physical wellness.

Medications can be an important part of managing mental health—just as they are for high blood pressure, infections, or allergies. They can help relieve symptoms, support daily functioning, and help you feel more like yourself again.

Not all mental health medications are long-term. Some may be used short-term or as needed, depending on your situation. Your provider will guide you through the options, explain benefits and side effects, and work with you to find a treatment plan that fits your needs.

After scheduling your initial visit, you will receive an email to access your patient portal. This secure online portal will contain forms to complete prior to your appointment. It’s important to fill them out thoughtfully, as they help your provider understand your health history and prepare for your care.

We understand that meeting a new provider can bring up some anxiety. Our goal is to make you feel welcomed, safe, and supported. You’re welcome to bring a partner, spouse, or family member to your appointment if you choose.

Your first visit may last up to 1.5 hours and will include:

  • A detailed discussion of your physical and mental health
  • Review of any pre-completed assessments
  • Education on diagnoses and treatment options
  • Time to ask questions and discuss goals

We are honored to be part of your care and look forward to supporting you on your journey to wellness.

Hormone Imbalance Support

Changes in hormones not only impact our physical but also mental health. We see these changes at a young age, through puberty, early adulthood, pregnancy, and middle age. The fluctuations of hormones have a synergistic effect on neurotransmitters that impact our mental health. Regulating hormones, supporting frequent fluctuations and mood changes through the reproductive years, and peri/menopausal timeframe support positive wellbeing, physically and mentally.

Hormonal changes impact more than just physical health—they play a significant role in mental and emotional well-being as well. From puberty and early adulthood to pregnancy, postpartum, and the peri/menopausal years, hormonal fluctuations can influence mood, energy, and overall mental health.

These changes affect the balance of key neurotransmitters—the brain chemicals that regulate how we think, feel, and respond to stress. When hormones shift, they can amplify or disrupt these brain signals, often leading to mood changes, anxiety, irritability, or emotional sensitivity.

By understanding and supporting hormone regulation, especially during reproductive transitions, we can improve both physical and mental wellness. Whether through lifestyle interventions, therapy, or medication, addressing these fluctuations can make a meaningful difference in overall quality of life.

Nutrition and Weight Management

What we eat has a powerful impact on both physical and mental health. A balanced, nutrient-rich diet can help regulate cortisol levels, hormones, and inflammation—all of which play key roles in mood, energy, and emotional well-being.

We understand that in today’s fast-paced world, prioritizing nutrition and healthy habits can feel overwhelming. That’s why we’re here to support you with realistic, evidence-based strategies for healthy eating, appetite awareness, and weight regulation.

Our goal is to help you build sustainable habits that support your overall wellness—mind and body.

Healing Movement with Yoga and Pilates

Movement is medicine—for both the body and the mind. Practices like yoga and Pilates not only strengthen the body but also support mental health by promoting mindfulness, reducing stress, and improving emotional regulation.

Regular physical activity releases endorphins, the body’s natural “feel-good” chemicals, which can help reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress.

Gentle, intentional movement through yoga and Pilates offers a powerful way to reconnect with your body, calm the nervous system, and support overall well-being.
